Here’s a clip from Zootopia featuring some of my contributions to the movie. From 0:34 when Hopps asks ” What?…why??” until 0:48 when Bellweather says ” Just heard officer Hopps is taking the case!” . It was very hard to animate Bogo, the buffalo police chief voiced by Idris Elba. His performance had to be super tense and contained.With the help of our supervisors the shot turned out ok but it took me a lot of struggle to get there. I had lots of fun animating Bellweather with her sharp , slightly more cartoony gestures.
